Madelaine Buttini is a visual artist from Brisbane, Australia. She is currently exploring hand cut and digital collage using vintage and modern materials. Madelaine aspires to bring a moment of happiness and hope from her artwork, especially for those who feel lost and alone within our busy and sometimes overwhelming society. Her work reflects upon the challenges she has faced as a friend, girlfriend and feminist.
Her first major breakthrough celebrity mention was in 2017 when Lana Del Rey shared one of her first public works "Brigitte" to promote her single, "Love". This lead to an article featuring the work in VICE Magazine. She has been commissioned work by Elle Uk, Adidas Italy, Goop, The BBC, Califia Farms and Hamptons Sydney to name a few.
Madelaine is an international exhibiting artist having shown works in London, New York and throughout the East Coast of Australia. She is a major supporter of exhibiting within charity events to help raise funds for those in need, the charities she has supported is MQ Mental Health, The Heliotrope Foundation, Beyond Blue and Friends With Dignity.
